What to expect?
During this treatment, you may feel some tingling. This is completely normal and will subside soon after the treatment. You will also feel light dragging over the skin while we use the machine to extract debris out of your skin during the treatment. This treatment is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you are taking Accutane, you need to be off the medication for as long as you were on it before having this treatment. If you have aspirin allergies, you cannot get this treatment done. If you have blood pressure issue and previous cancers, lymphatic drainage cannot be performed.
Treatment preparation

6 Months Before HydraFacial: Stop using products consisting of Isotretinoin like Accutane.

Two Weeks Before HydraFacial: Do not undergo any laser treatments. Also, avoid undergoing any deep or medium chemical peels or dermal fillers.

One Week Before HydraFacial: You may schedule a Botox treatment about eight days before your HydraFacial treatment. The Botox treatment can be scheduled on the same day as your HydraFacial treatment, but it has to be done after the HydraFacial treatment..

72 Hours Before HydraFacial: Avoid excessive exposure to the sun. If at all you are required to step out in the sun during the peak hours, wear a dermatologist-recommended sunscreen with SPF 35. Avoid tanning beds.

48 Hours Before HydraFacial: Do not use any OTC acne medications like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Also, avoid waxing, using depilatories, and undergoing exfoliating treatment with active enzymes or glycolic acids. Additionally, avoid using topical products consisting of tretinoin like Retin-A.

The Day of Treatment: Shaving is strictly prohibited on the day of treatment. If at all you want to, do not shave within three to four hours of the appointment.
Treatment Aftercare

It is not recommended to wear makeup on your skin 24 hours after treatment. You can apply makeup after this time frame, but keep it very light for a few days. The less makeup worn, the better.

No Gym straight after HydraFacial. Wait 24 hours as sweat can irritate fresh exfoliated skin.

Avoid direct sunlight for 24hrs after treatment. Apply 50+ always.

Excessive alcohol intake is not recommended as it can dehydrate your skin, reversing the effect of the treatments just done.

Resist any harsh skincare products for the first 24 -48 hours after your treatment. They can cause irritation and counteract the benefits of your treatment. As much as possible, try to avoid ingredients containing retinol, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid because they can be too intense for your freshly exfoliated and treated skin. Instead, focus on gentle, hydrating products. Look for cleansers and moisturisers with soothing ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and calming extracts. These will help keep your skin calm and hydrated.
